Whats the nickname all about?

Well its a pun on Ownes Law, basically it stuck because of the amount of time I attempt to take players on before shooting. Why shoot into an open goal if there's potentially another two players to take on again and again?

Give a brief overview of your career at Bosworth so far:

Signed in 2006, hit the post on debut, scored 21 goals from midfield in first season, only 3 goals from defense in the follwing season, although did miss 3 months through injury.

What's the funniest thin to have at Bosworth 2000?

So many to choose from, but for me it was the last game of the season 07/08. I think we won 8-3. I've never played in a more enjoyable game than that. The game was full of comedy moments, e.g. Ash's forward role (he played well though). Richard was the sub who lasted about five minutes and his memorable freekick. MY dymmu in the penalty area. The list goes on & on!

What's the best goal you've scored for the club?

I'd probably say the opener against Paynes Garage 2006/07 season. A half volley, left foot, from the angle, 14 yards out. I was proud of that one although I guess officially it shouldn't count as we had to replay the game due to John Alesbrook breaking his ankle.

I think it would be fair to say that Chris could use a trip to the saloon for a bit of a tidy.

What does the future hold for you at Bosworth 2000?

I hope to play for the next few years, I'm looking forward to it. Defence or Midfield I'll do my best!

What players should we look out for this season?

I look forward to seeing Dave Howell and Tom both netting 20 goals plus!
