Another cold morning awaited Tim Wilson's Market Bosworth 2000 and once again Mitchell Brown arrives 2 minutes before kick off. With seven changes to the starting line for the penultimate game of the season, Wilson was hoping a fresh look to the team would bring a result.

The replacements didn't disappoint with recalled John Holmes opening the scoring 5 minutes into the game. A well delivered corner from gaffer Tim Wilson, found Holmes in acres of space and his header was directed past a flayling keeper and a rooted defender.

The home side had to wait half an hour before moving two goals in front. Skipper Tom Alesbrook leapt upon a pass from Mark Smith, before serging into the midfield. His pure prescene cause choas in the away side defense and the centre back sent an extrodinary back pass flying of the helpless goalkeeper.

Westfield Wanderers were offered a glimmer of hope when a cross looped thanklessly over Phil Holdsworth. A goal that the away side didn't deserve as all their possession was contained in the middle of the park.

The second half was dominated by the in middle of the park, but it wasn't until late in the second half when constant Bosworth pressure finally told. After serveral one on one efforts from Mitchell Brown left the home fans frustrated, he finally put the game out of reach of the away side. A long clearance from goalkeeper Holdsworth, was flicked on by Alesbrook and finally Brown was able to place it past the keeper at the second time of asking.

With six minutes remaining Alesbrook made the game secure. Another long clearance from Holdsworth was lept upon by the skipper and he placed it calmly past the on rushing keeper.
